Artbots - Grade 3 robotics

We used Little Bits electronics to create artistic robots called Artbots - these came out great!  The Little Bits electronic components are built for children to use. The pieces illustrate the basic concepts of electricity and robotics in a hands-on way. Our awesome third grade engineers connected the electronics to vibration discs attached to cups with markers attached. These little artbots scurried all over paper creating unique works of art!












Grade 2 - Introducing 2nd Graders to the world of ROBOTICS!

The 2nd graders put their knowledge of simple machines to work and set out to create Lego robots! Students built the robots by working together and using the LegoWeDo Education software. The software and Lego kits introduce children to robotics, engineering, and programming. The robots have working motors and sensors and each one has a simple machine moving its parts. They have been shipped off to Mrs. Griller's computer room, ready for programming.  The children were so excited to bring these creations to life!  Here are the amazing engineers at work:
