Grade 2 - Introducing 2nd Graders to the world of ROBOTICS!
The 2nd graders put their knowledge of simple machines to work and set out to create Lego robots! Students built the robots by working together and using the LegoWeDo Education software. The software and Lego kits introduce children to robotics, engineering, and programming. The robots have working motors and sensors and each one has a simple machine moving its parts. They have been shipped off to Mrs. Griller's computer room, ready for programming. The children were so excited to bring these creations to life! Here are the amazing engineers at work:
First Grade Engineers! Bridge Building

Everyone's favorite bridge seemed to be Tower Bridge:
The first graders worked so hard on their bridges! I love seeing their fantastic creations!! Here are photos of grade 1C's bridges, they finished today. I will post grade 1Q as soon as their bridges are complete!
